A Poll Worker is someone who is paid by the county to work at the election poll. You'll check ID's, get signatures and provide ballots. Training is provided by the County.
An election observer is someone who, independent of the County, is present at polling places to help ensure that election law is followed, and that election fraud does not occur. Registration and training are provided.
